The Wandering Albatross (Diomedea exulans) is listed as a vulnerable species. It is the largest of the four species of Wanderers. Older adult males develop an almost all white plumage, hence its alternative name of 'snowy' albatross.

The Latin word "exsulans" means 'living as an exile", referring to its high-seas roaming behavior.
