The Moustached or Mustached Parakeet (Psittacula alexandri alexandri) is also known as the Java Mustached or Red-breasted Parakeet.

This parrot is endemic to the Himalayas and southern China to Indonesia.

The first 18 months, the males and females look identical, with orange beaks and green chests. After ~18 months, the female's bill turns black, and she develops a bluish tinge to her head feathers. Both will also develop salmon-coloured breast feathers.
